Ofsted and SIAMS

We are a GOOD school! Here is some of what the inspectors found:

  • Leaders’ relentless focus on pupils’ progress has transformed the education provided by the school in recent years. As a result, pupils are making speedy progress.
  • Pupils enjoy school and attend regularly. Pupils’ attendance is above the national average.
  • Staff morale is high. Staff respect leaders and act on advice given. Consequently, the quality of teaching, learning and assessment is good.
  • The trust has been pivotal in the success of the school. Strong, strategic leadership, including governance, has ensured that the right people are in the right places to secure the necessary improvements.  Middle leadership is particularly effective in key stage 2 in raising achievement.
  • Senior leaders have implemented thorough assessment systems. Accurate assessment accounts for the rapid improvement to whole school effectiveness.
  • The most able pupils, including those who are disadvantaged, make strong progress.
