Religious Education

We follow Awareness, Mystery and Value (AMV) the Locally Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education in Somerset.

We also use the teaching resource Understanding Christianity to support pupils in developing their own thinking and their understanding of Christianity, as a contribution to their understanding of the world and their own experience within it. We aim to see pupils leave school with a coherent understanding of Christian belief and practice.

Each term at Trinity we focus on a different Christian Value. These Christian values are explored during daily collective worship and through our cross curricular learning in class.

Our RE teaching also teaches children about other world religions and supports our children as they develop understanding, respect and tolerance to all faiths.
