We explicitly teach high quality speaking and listening at Trinity. We have high standards of behaviour for all of our pupils. We realise that for children to have the best start in life, they need to be taught how to listen well and how to speak in an impressive and articulate manner. 

STAR and SHAPE are part of our oracy strategy. In school, oracy is a powerful tool for learning; by teaching students to become more effective speakers and listeners we empower them to better understand themselves, each other and the world around them. It is also a route to social mobility, empowering all students, not just some, to find their voice to succeed in school and life.
